if you have issues opening ida after installation, run sudo codesign -f -s - /Applications/IDA\ Professional\ 9.0.app/Contents/MacOS/ida64 and it should work. If you get a signum 11 directly on launch without any window make sure python is installed and run idapyswitch to select the right python version then open again.
