| We are excited to announce the early access release of Kerio Control 9.5! This version brings a significant performance boost, thanks to the introduction of the new IPS v3 engine. Version includes also other fixes listed bellow. Enhanced IPS Engine The new IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) engine is critical to the security of Kerio Control and its customers. As one of the first components to analyze incoming packets, the IPS engine applies thousands of security rules, which can be computationally intensive. With IPS v3, we are introducing multithreading, enabling the engine to process packets significantly faster. During testing, devices such as NG100/110 and NG300/310 experienced up to a 30% improvement in download traffic performance. AppManager Improvements Weve also enhanced the AppManager to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience: -Resolved an issue with snapshots that caused the system to auto-restart when the GFI agent became unresponsive, provided the watchdog auto-restart option was enabled. -Increased registration timeout to eliminate random failures during appliance registration. Fixed an issue where upgrading or downgrading Kerio Control via AppManager would occasionally fail. -Other Fixes Resolved an issue where VPN clients were served incorrect certificates, even when HTTPS decryption was disabled. |
